We are a new Art Guild hellbent on giving you quality content on the internet. We aim to offer insightful documentaries, entertaining web-series, and streaming content, as well as a look into practicing artists and their crafts.

2019-2024: Progressive studio entertainment

In 2019, a small group of artists banded together to philosophically challenge current film, art, and animation standards. This experiment ended with the creation of an untitled manifesto that praises the artist's role in creating media, a small studio mindset, and challenges the idea of modern industry practices.

Following a setback from the COVID-19 pandemic, ESOCRYPT Entertainment was formed in 2020 as an art collective that aims to create quality content on the internet and properly compensate all of the artists involved. In 2022 River Ouellette released Love, Will, and Wisdom: The Temple of Witchcraft Documentary, a feature-length film made as a collaboration with the Temple.

In late 2022 Gigi Morrison would be voted the first Artist Guild Chairman and subsequently create the Esocrypt Observer, a bulletin and newsletter originally released on the 13th bi-annually, as well as updates that function as a news source for Esocrypt.

in 2024 Esocrypt would restructure as a governing body to ensure a more equal workspace for all artists based on writings by Chairman Morrison and founder River Ouellette. Royin Yap would continue to the new Esocrypt Artist Guild Chairman role. In May, River Ouellette and Gigi Morrison joined Chairman Royin Yap, forming the guild committee, and cementing their full-time service to helping the guild grow.

Artist Guild chairman

The ceremonial role of Chairman is filled by a person of any studio discipline who is currently the head of a studio and is chosen by the former Chairman or by a majority vote of the guild artists. This role provides no financial bonus and is the primary committee leadership role within the Guild.
