Lubinville was a factory in Philadelphia run by the film manufacturing company of film mogul Sigmund Lubin. In 1914 the factory was destroyed in a freak accident with over 1600 films going missing, sadly creating another massive gap in American film history, that is being rewritten.

A Note from the Director: "There is an editing error during the section where we discuss the assassination of William Mckinley. The sources do not appear in the upper left corner, leaving the audience without context and credibility for my team and I's research. This hurts as the video was quite well researched, this part included, I myself have seen or held all of the documents I've mentioned. The Sources however do appear in the big list here on the website, we will be working to find a way to highlight them. Please understand that this was not an attempt to misinform our audience or discredit Historians who have worked in their fields. My claim however that Mckinley was, at one point, a "moving president" though, I will stand by as it is backed up by first-person sources following the fire [at Lubinville]."

River V.C.'s documentary work continues in their attempt to blend true insightful research with the video essay style they have grown to admire. At the time of the first season, River is studying film and video with a focus on early film preservation and of course, production. With this background the 12-30 minute documentaries hope to shed light on film heroes of the past.

River v.c.’s Mini-Docs (Episodes 1-6) will be free on the @ESOCRYPT official YouTube Channel.
