In early 2024 the artists here at ESOCRYPT Entertainment began structuring the art collective, which continues to grow on YouTube.Esocrypt will begin posting content to its official Instagram following a rebrand, where we will get re-introduced to the artists as well as several content announcements including new releases and merchandise.

Love, Will, and Wisdom: The Temple of Witchcraft Documentary continues to grow in views, as it is planned to launch on various other alternatives to YouTube. On Vimeo, the documentary is available via director River Ouellette’s account. Here you can also find many of River’s art films as well as the trailers and advertisements for Love, Will, and Wisdom.

The ESOCRYPT Artist’s Guild had its first meeting, which solidified our artists' intent to have a working organization without a corporate structure. A decorative role will spearhead ESOCRYPT’s future and will be passed from artist to artist following the wants and needs of the artists within the guild. Royin Yap, the new president was interviewed after a small ceremony “I feel amazed that this group of talented artists would nominate me to represent the guild.” They have the power to create additional roles as needed as we expand our reach in the community.

Esocryptentertainment.com will begin to feature artwork from their artist's backlog and give light on pieces they feel they haven't been able to showcase properly through short interviews and highlights. On the shop side of the site, we have added several new items including T-shirts and beanies, we are also in the middle of setting up our purchaseable art.

River V.C.’s Mini-Docs will make their debut with Noble Johnson: a Forgotten Pioneer this month. River has been preparing an insightful documentary, and I have assisted in the writing process. We will have an announcement the day Noble Johnson: a Forgotten Pioneer debuts that will feature an interview with River as well as a reiteration of sources we used and think people should be aware of.

An untitled animated series is in the works. Its art direction is being handled by Royin Yap, a longtime studio artist and recently appointed Esocrypt Artist’s Guild president. When I asked about being the president while co-heading a project with River, Royin said: “Well, being the president doesn't give me much power, and we all work off of a basis of mutual respect anyway, so it doesn't feel much different”. A riveting response that highlights the ideology of equality within the guild’s ranks. I then asked Royin about the project and working with River V.C., who is not known for their collaborative efforts. “It’s kinda like my baby because I didn't realize I was going to be able to do animation so it's the first show that I will be able to do whatever I want to. I don't have to be restricted, it can just be funsies…”

If you have read this far you should consider donating to our Patreon! It has several tiers that allow for flexibility, from 1-5 USD to what we consider “investor tiers” which are around 100 USD. I would like to highlight a tier we call The Regular Observer. This tier proceeds to go toward creating a magazine titled The Esocrypt Observer, It will feature articles by our artists talking about their personal work, as well as give behind-the-scenes looks into their work here at Esocrypt. A limited number of magazines will be printed but all issues will be digitally available on Patreon.
